Roof Basics

How Much Does a Roof Cost?

There are several factors that come into play when determining the cost of replacing your roof, including height, inclination, location, time of the year, and material prices. Every roof is different, so there’s no point in throwing a number out there. But if you do want to know more about the cost of your specific roof’s requirements, we’re happy to provide you with a free estimate. We can even conduct virtual estimates with just a little bit of information. And the best part? There’s no commitment. So even if you’re still shopping around, don’t hesitate to let us evaluate your roofing needs. Give us a call or leave a message in our chat box today!

How Do I Know If My Roof Needs to Be Replaced?

Sometimes, it can be tough to tell when your roof needs a refresher. But that’s where the professionals come. Roofs may need repair or replacement for many different reasons, including hail damage, wind damage, improper installation, and simply regular wear and tear. If your roof has experienced any of these scenarios, it’s time to give us a call. In the areas we serve in Texas and Louisiana, we typically consider a roof’s lifespan to be about 15-18 years. If your roof is nearing that age, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let us repair or replace your roof before any serious damage occurs!

How do you Replace a Roof?

1. Give Us a Call
Pick up the phone and call us at(832) 684-1255 (Texas) or(504) 224-9953(Louisiana). We’ll chat about your roof’s needs and take down some basic information in order to serve you better. If you’d rather, you can also contact us through the chat box or our contact page.
2. Receive Your Roof Inspection and Consultation
We’ll schedule a time for us to come out and inspect your roof at your convenience. One of our experts will perform this thorough inspection to get a better idea of which products and services will be best suited to your home. Then, we will work with you to provide a roof that’s tailored to your needs.
3. Schedule Your Installation
After we collect information at the inspection, we’ll put together an order for materials and send it through to one of our many top-tier suppliers. While some materials and colors may take longer to arrive than others, we can usually get the installation started within 1-2 weeks of placing the order. Many times, we’ll be able to start even sooner if we are working with a material that is available immediately.
4. Perform the Installation
Throughout the installation process, one of our expert project managers will be on site to oversee the job, perform quality control, and answer any questions you might have while we’re working on your roof. The project manager will also prepare a photo report of the installation and walk around your property with you to make sure the job is being performed to your satisfaction. At Mission Roofing, we are proud of the high standards we hold for every single job that we complete.
5. Finish the Job!
We’ll leave your property clean after the job is finished, and your roof will be in first-class condition by the time we’re through. After we’ve finished your project, our lines are always open for any feedback – whether it’s positive or negative. Don’t worry, we won’t stop answering your calls once the project is complete. Maintaining long-term relationships with our clients is a top priority for us.
