ROOF MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST
Seal Exposed Nails
We'll replace rusted nails around your roof and seal all of them to prevent further oxidation. Rusted nails will pop out, creating gaps between the shingles and the flashing where water can come in.
Protect Metals
We'll paint the metal accessories on your roof to prevent them to corrode and extend their life. If already rusted through, replacing them might be recommended
Replace Damaged Shingles
Most roofs, even the ones in good condition will have at least a few shingles with tooling marks, with a popped nail, or deteriorated more than the rest. We'll make sure to replace them before they become an issue.
Replace Ridge Caps
Ridge caps are under a greater stress and are susceptible to faster wear and tear than regular field shingles. These can become a problem very fast as they are on a very vulnerable spot of your roof. Replacing them during maintenance is very important to get ahead of a sure leak.
